or maybe it might be too humid...bathrooms normally are. Try moving them to the kitchen or a bedroom for a couple of weeks. As long as it gets lots of light. Just an idea you may want to try. Let us know how you get on.

Liz - There are two possible reasons why your seeds are not developing quickly.

1. Heat - Windowsills are great places to keep you plants however the temperatures can plummet at night time, especially if you do not have double glazing. You could try moving the seedlings somewhere warmer at night to try to give the seedlings a more constant temperature.

2. Light - I suspect this is your main problem. Chilli seedlings need lots of light and while you have them on a sunny windowsill, the days are not at their longest yet so they may not be getting enough. At this time of year I am using my cheap light box to keep their growth up. If you don't have a sunnier windowsill to put them on i'd suggest finding some florescent lights to give them a boost.

Hi, I planted my chilli seeds in February, they germinated within 2 weeks and produced two healthy leaves, and look exactly like your picture, the problem is they have not grown anymore since. They are in a warm sunny bathroom, which I thought would be a good enviroment for them.
Can you PLEASE tell me what I am doing wrong
