Chris - It will depend but I make enough to last until next year and have never had a problem. Once opened it should keep for at least 6 weeks in the fridge. It never last that long in our house though!

This is the first year I have grown chillies and it has been very successful. I am planning to dry some of the chillies but would also like to make the chilli jelly, oil and chutney, I was wondering how long they would store for once ive made them?

Thanks

I have 4 cayenee chilly plants. 2 of the plans have had large 4-5" clillys on. but they stay green & have been for a mth or so the plant is producing more every week. about 20 on each plant now. should i pick some of the large green ones & sun dry? will this help some of the others to turn red on the plant. like tomatoes to meny stop them turning red . or should i just wait & see what happens?
