les - strange. maybe it was a bit strong or maybe just a bit of shock. i've found drooping often occurs when i change something. maybe try watering it down a bit more next time.

i gave my plants a feed of half strength tomato food last week and within an hour they had all drooped to my horror. the only thing i could think of was to flush the food away away with water and they appear to have recovered do you think the food was too strong for the roots

I find most of my chilli plants in the greenhosue droop for a couple of hours while it's hottest about midday.

This only happens until they are about a foot tall, then they tend to be able to handle the heat a little bit better.

I've found that misting in the morning and once more in the evening helps a great deal with drooping leaves. Also it help you avoid overwatering your plants as they can get a lot of moisture just from the spray.
